Industrial Cable Ties for Plant, Utility and OEM Supply
Shangbo is a factory-direct industrial cable ties supplier. Heavy-duty high-tensile bands, SS304 / SS316 stainless and UV-stabilised nylon — specified against your load, temperature and environment, then quoted on one order with the test documentation your plant or audit file needs.
ISO 9001CE / EN IEC 62275RoHSREACHTÜV TESTEDUL 94 V-0 / V-2
Which industrial grade does your application need?
“Industrial” is set by the load and the environment, not by a label. These are the four grades we mould in-house — quoted on a single order so you are not splitting a plant requirement across three vendors.
High load
Heavy-Duty Cable Ties
The default industrial specification. Wider bands and higher tensile ratings for plant cabling, structural bundling, pipework and site loads where a standard nylon tie will not hold.
Heat, salt & fire
Stainless Steel Ties (SS304 / SS316)
Where nylon cannot survive. Ball-lock stainless for furnace and exhaust runs, tunnels, offshore and marine salt exposure, and any fire-rated or chemically aggressive line. SS316 for the harshest duty.
General duty
Nylon PA66 Cable Ties
The volume line behind most industrial installations — panels, cabinets, trays and harnessing. Genuine PA66, UL 94 V-2 / V-0 rated and tested to EN IEC 62275, not regrind.
Outdoor & UV
UV-Resistant Cable Ties
Carbon-black UV-stabilised PA66 for permanent outdoor exposure — solar arrays, substations, fencing, telecom and utility runs where a standard tie goes brittle in a season.
Specialty industrial lines are supplied on the same order: metal detectable for food and pharma lines, PVC-coated stainless where bare metal would chafe, marine grade for saltwater, and automotive for under-bonnet heat and vibration.
Match the grade to the environment
Send us the load, the temperature and what the tie is exposed to. If you are unsure, this table is where most specifications land.
| Environment / duty | Grade to specify | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Indoor panels, trays, cabinets | Nylon PA66 | UL 94 rated, lowest cost per tie at volume |
| Structural loads, pipework, site bundling | Heavy-duty PA66 | Wider band and higher tensile rating |
| Permanent outdoor, solar, utility | UV-stabilised PA66 | Carbon black resists embrittlement |
| High temperature, furnace, exhaust | Stainless SS304 | Nylon is outside its range |
| Saltwater, offshore, chemical | Stainless SS316 | Higher corrosion resistance than 304 |
| Fire-rated and tunnel runs | Stainless, or UL 94 V-0 nylon | Specified by the project standard |
| Food, beverage, pharma lines | Metal detectable | Fragments detectable on the line |
| Chemical contact / acids | Polypropylene | Better chemical resistance than nylon |
What an industrial supplier has to get right
Plant buyers are not buying a tie, they are buying the certainty that a batch performs the same as the last one. We are the factory — 20+ years, 21 injection machines, 3000+ styles, exporting to 50+ countries — so nothing is sub-contracted behind your back.
- Grade held, not substituted — genuine PA66 verified on intake, no regrind on standard lines.
- Batch traceability — logged moulding parameters and dimensional inspection against the approved sample.
- Documents with the order — tensile and temperature reports, material declarations, UL 94 ratings, RoHS and REACH for your audit file.
- Repeat supply — once a specification is approved, replenishment runs against the same records with no re-approval.
- Third-party inspection — accommodated before shipment on request.

Sectors we supply on repeat contract
Electrical & Power
Panels, switchgear, cable trays and substation runs. UL 94 V-2 / V-0 nylon tested to EN IEC 62275, with UV grades for anything outside the building.
Automotive & Rail
Engine-bay harnesses, under-body looms and rolling stock. Heat- and vibration-resistant grades that hold through thermal cycling rather than relaxing.
Telecom & Data Centres
Structured cabling, racks and fibre routing. Low-profile heads and smooth edges so a tie never becomes the reason a run has to be re-terminated.
Construction & Infrastructure
Site bundling, conduit, scaffolding services and temporary works. Heavy-duty bands where the load and the weather are both working against the tie.
Marine, Offshore & Energy
Saltwater, platforms, wind and solar. SS316 and PVC-coated stainless where corrosion, not tensile load, is what eventually fails the fixing.
Food, Beverage & Pharma
Detection-critical production lines. Blue metal-detectable bodies so a fragment is caught by the detector instead of leaving with the product.
Industrial sourcing questions
Grade is set by the load and the environment, not by a label on the bag. In practice an industrial specification means a higher tensile band โ our heavy-duty range rather than a standard nylon tie โ plus a material matched to the exposure: UV-stabilised PA66 outdoors, polypropylene for chemical contact, and SS304 / SS316 stainless for heat, salt and fire-rated runs.
For permanent outdoor exposure, carbon-black UV-stabilised PA66 โ an unstabilised tie can go brittle within a season. Above nylon’s working range, or anywhere there is flame, salt or aggressive chemistry, move to stainless. Send us the temperature and the exposure and we will confirm the grade against test data rather than guess.
Yes โ that is the main reason plant buyers consolidate with us. All four grades are moulded or produced in-house, so a mixed requirement goes on one quotation, one production schedule and one shipment instead of three vendors and three freight charges. The minimum applies per SKU, not per order.
10,000 pieces per SKU. The minimum applies per size, colour and grade, so a mixed order across several SKUs is welcome โ include the quantity for each line in your enquiry. Samples are arranged separately and are not subject to the production minimum.
Tensile and temperature test reports, dimensional inspection records, material declarations and UL 94 flammability ratings, plus RoHS and REACH documentation. Our ISO 9001, CE / EN IEC 62275 and TรV certificates are available for your audit file โ see the certifications page. Third-party inspection before shipment is accommodated on request.
Yes. Private-label polybags, printed header cards, barcode labels and export master cartons, with artwork proofed and a pre-production sample approved before the run starts. Custom colours, non-standard lengths and embossed logos run on standard tooling; a new mould for a new size is quoted separately.
Yes โ we ship to over 50 countries from Ningbo and Shanghai on FOB, EXW or DDP terms. Tell us the destination country and we will include freight options and landed timing with the quotation, and reply within 24 hours.
